India TEC issues mandatory control list of phase III and IV telecom equipment

On September 22, 2021, Tec of Indian Telecommunication Engineering Center issued Notice No. 5-2 / 2021-tc / TEC / 93 - on the control list of compulsory telecommunication equipment in phase III & IV, in which phase III covers 10 categories and phase IV covers 36 categories.


Based on the products in phase I and II that Tec has forced in the early stage, the corresponding control list and requirements are summarized as follows:

remarks:

The above products can apply for certification to the mtcte portal (compulsory testing and certification procedure for telecommunication equipment) based on GCS or SCS authentication modes.

Safety regulations and EMC reports of local tests in India shall be provided.

The test report shall not exceed 2 years (calculated by the time of submission to mtcte), and the reports issued by Tec approved laboratories and ILAC laboratories shall meet this validity.

For phase IV mandatory products (note * in notification_mtcte_3_4), er standards will be uploaded to mtcte certification system one after another.
