Certification Introduction

China Compulsory Product Certification, the English name China Compulsory Certification, referred to as CCC certification or 3C certification. Implementation and supervision by the China Certification and Accreditation Commission CNCA, which is authorized to recognize the 15 licensing bodies and 152 laboratories to carry out specific provisions since August 1, 2002 to accept the first batch of mandatory product catalog included in the 19 categories of 132 kinds of product certification applications, the directory of these products must pass CCC certification and affix the CCC mark to be sold in the market.

2014 Regulatory Updates

According to the "CNCA on the release of mandatory product certification implementation rules announcement" (CNCA Announcement No. 23 of 2014), in line with the effective implementation of the new version of the implementation rules, the relevant designated certification bodies should be in accordance with the new version of the rules require the development of the corresponding certification implementation rules. According to the provisions of the implementation rules, enterprises based on the conclusion of factory inspection, sampling test results, supervision and inspection conclusions, product quality status and other principles, the enterprise is divided into four levels of A/B/C/D. Application Process

1、Customer submits documents and samples to GIG.
2、GIG will apply for CCC online system.
3、Qualification laboratory test is completed and test report is issued, apply to the issuing agency (such as: CQC, etc.) for the first factory inspection.
4、Factory inspection is completed, the issuing agency (such as: CQC, etc.), issued a CCC certificate.
