Australian Electrical Products Testing and Certification Institute
The RCM mark is being introduced in Australia and New Zealand to achieve uniform marking of electrical products. The mark is a trademark owned by the regulatory bodies in Australia and New Zealand and indicates that compliance with both safety and EMC requirements is non-mandatory.

RCM certification application process

Australia RCM certification process
1. A third-party laboratory evaluates the product and determines the test standards to be performed.
2. test if there are non-conformities, the laboratory will rectify the product to meet and meet the requirements of the Australian standards.
3. The test is passed and a test report is issued.
4. Submit the test report to the Australian licensing authority for document review.
5. Australian audit passed, issued RCM certificate.
6. Customers can complete the Australian website registration by themselves or by the laboratory.

Australia RCM certification notes

1. Products need to be unified on the time to add RCM logo, note that this requirement is the April 19, 2013 Australia announcement.
2. Direct plug adapter to do RCM safety certification, to do random testing of the plug.
3. Lamp type products: such as T8 LED lamps, fluorescent tubes due to the user can directly replace the larger safety risks, you need to send samples to Australia to assess.
