Annex IV of EU ROHS directive extends the validity of Article 42 exemption

On June 2, 2021, the official journal of the European Union issued an amendment to RoHS directive 2011 / 65 / EU ((EU) 2021 / 884), which formally updated the validity of Article 42 exemption and extended it to June 30, 2026. This amendment will take effect on the 20th day after its publication.
According to (EU) 2021 / 884, annex IV of RoHS directive updates the following provisions:

All Member States shall adopt and issue relevant laws, regulations or administrative provisions before June 30, 2022, and implement them from July 1, 2022.
