Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC (also known as "TSD") lay down the safety criteria that toys must meet before they can be marketed in the EU and specific test methods are set forth in EN 71 and EN 62115.The EN 71 series standard specifies the requirements for physical performance, flammability, labeling, and EN 62115 specifies the safety requirements of the electric toys.
