Amazon TIC Direct Verification is fully launched, and sellers must understand the five key points

Starting from September 2025, Amazon will officially implement the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) direct verification system on its US and Canadian sites. This means that sellers will no longer be able to upload compliance documents themselves; they must complete verification and upload through an Amazon-designated TIC agency. For sellers, this is both a challenge and an opportunity.

Firstly, authenticity and credibility will become core. In the past, some sellers may have uploaded reports through non-standard channels, or even with false materials. The new system requires direct submission by TIC, completely eliminating the possibility of falsified documents.

Secondly, existing test reports are not useless. If your report comes from a laboratory with ISO17025 qualifications, it still has reference value. You only need to submit the report for TIC review, which will confirm whether the content is complete. If it passes, it can be converted into a submission format recognized by Amazon.

Thirdly, cost and timeliness are the most important concerns for sellers. Many sellers may wonder: If I already have a report, why should I pay money? The reason is that direct verification is not just "uploading," but includes a comprehensive review and endorsement of the authenticity and compliance of the documents. TIC agencies need to bear compliance risks for this, so verification services inevitably incur costs.

Fourthly, the cost of non-compliance is higher. If sellers still harbor a lucky mentality and use unverified materials, it will not only lead to product removal but may also result in account freezing, which is more than counterproductive.
