Description and Analysis

1. Small parts easily detach from the product. A small child may put them in the mouth and choke on it.

2. The sound pressure level is too high (measured value: up to 87 dB). This could lead to temporary / permanent loss of hearing, when the product is used.
The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and of the relevant European standard EN 71.

Our Advise

Manufacturers should consider the actual age range of toys suitable for children to play when designing their products, and products for children under 3 years old should not contain small parts that can be touched. In the design of products also need to consider the size of the sound. It is recommended that the toys be sent to a third-party testing agency for small parts and sound testing before mass production to reduce the risk of recall.
